Sri MALKARI.NAGENDRA RAO,who was retired as a drawing master, Right from the child hood he inclined towords art, (father’s hereditary) In the year 1970 he joined as a drawing master in Govt High School in anantapur , in his leisure periods he did not sit ideal, always he strives for variation, new method or new technic .one day while drawing,.. a pencil was not with him, at once he started his practice with a BALL POINT PEN, he found a good results then onwards he did not stop. Severely he worked with BALL POINT PEN. Now artist exhibits his skill merely in strokes skilfully he shows perfect light and shade, clear depths ,expressions etc.. it requires a lot of patience , alot of skill , a lot of time , a lot of concentration. Each picture taken week and months now a beautiful art images . In his BALL PEN ARTS , we observe a wonder. Each master piece contains main figure and subsidiary figures. The subsidiary figures are not seen immediately, they are hidden in main figure , they are not visible unless we pay our special attention. In every summer, education department starts TTC (Teachers Technical Certificate) course in Anantapur. sri Nagendra Rao worked as drawing instructor for several years. Trainees were spread all over RAYALASEEMA., even KARNATAKA & TAMILNADU States. A highly appreciating thing is his free hand. He is renouned for his beautiful traditional lady figures in free hand
